Ok here we go another rememberance day is here and it cant seem to pass nowadays without the arguments in the press and on twitter about it, cant we not treat this day with the respect it deserves any more? It seems we cant.
If you want to buy a poppy thats fine if you dont thats fine and if you want to give to this charity thats fine too, what we dont need is your opinions really why you are why you are not, same as the England team with the poppies sewn into their shirts why is it so important why are we so bothered about that, give to the charity and get on with it,why cant they just wear a poppy in everyday life if they want to? Why does it have to be a team england effort, to be honest im sure the poppy charity would rather they each gave up a weeks wages then have this row about poppies sewn into their shirts rumbling on! I wear a poppy but i usually lose it does that make me a bad person for not wearing one?
To me the people who shout loudest about giving to charitys/wearing poppies are the ones who are the least charitable.
